Production on the new Kanye is really fun but every time he opens his mouth I just think shut the f*** up you c***. And Ty dolla $ign is just a bit boring and rubbish

Definitely some questionable lines but I enjoyed it for the most part.

Listening to it non-stop since release and there is no track i see forcing myself to like like i usually do (Junya is utter trash. Perhaps his worst officially released song).

Lyrics could be better but his delivery is finally solid again and there is still some depth to them.

Kanye in his supervillain arc. He def gets off to the extremely negative reviews this is going to get. This makes peak a****** ye (up to this point (2010-13)) sound tame.

This is his best vocal delivery since probably TLOP (Was gonna say Yeezus but I think that's his strongest vocal delivery to date, so it's an unrealistic ask)

A friend of mine said that Kanye needed to alienate everyone before he could get back to making great music. He needed to hit rock bottom to regain the drive to prove himself again. He sounds hungry on this record.

Undeniable but his bullshit doesn't usually affect my enjoyment of his music. Only time it's made the music unlistenable to me was the garbage politics on Ye Vs The People and gross misogyny in Violent Crimes.

He did a review of Joni Mitchell’s Blue last month and for some reason he felt it was necessary to dedicate around 5 minutes of it to her doing blackface. Totally irrelevant context of events that happened years after it released. That’d be like reviewing Ziggy Stardust and thinking Bowie’s Thin White Duke character was worth discussing.

Finally got around to that Jason Isbell record from last year. A few great stand outs, but I mostly found it a bit generic. The more energetic rocking songs felt phony and some even came off like late career U2 protest music.

I liked the Waters mixtape when it dropped but haven’t listened to him in a minute. This is dope
