the most barely-even-there ambient music ive ever heard
Damn I ain’t listening to that lol

iirc you don't really fw with ambient anyways? your loss
the first listen I probably had a similar reaction. The layers and whirlwind of emotions reveal themselves with repeat listens. It's beautifully distanced dissonance.
I figured but that would even make Black Tape For A Blue Girl sound heavy

it's quite a contrast to her full length debut last year
more acoustic, maybe you'd dig it as well

Always down for art chicks in that Bjork/Grimes zone (probably bad comparison but I don't know what to call all this genre mashing)

Kinda album that reveals itself more and more on repeated listens but even so I love how everything seems to just materialise from and then just as quickly disappear into nothing
I mean the music is so low-key it's basically a wisp of smoke
The whole album like the first handful? Surprised you connected to hard to this
That wisp core
But what you got for #1 ? :mystery:

...and then there are the times that music is better than sex. the most glorious and enthralling piece of classical I've listened to in the last 6 years
if any of you have the fkn guts to listen to its entirety, prepare an altered state of conscious experience
Piece starts to become sublime by 3:04 and fully transcendent by 4:14, pants are wet by 7:33 and by minute 12 and 13 language has left me completely.

the f***ing fugue yo
beethoven is my goat but he could never... listen to it loud and do not avert your god damn ears!

I wouldn’t mind getting more into classical, one of my first memories of music was enjoying a Yanni Live cassette so I’m open to instrumental stuff. Violin/Fiddle might be my fav instrument

bach would be a good place to start
I haven't really listened to much Yanni i'll be honest I think he makes new age music or something
the violin is dope. always wished I had learned to play it when I was younger. Was just watching fiddler on the roof as well lol the other day
still has to be the most underrated thing ever
