Artists aren't getting paid and Spotify is going deeper into dept every year so I'm not so sure

Back in the day everybody would buy a great album and then listen to it for a month or two before it was scratched to s*** or lost and then buy it again. Now we pay as much per month to listen to everything in existence as we used to pay for once cd. Doesn't seem sustainable.

apparently Spotify is losing like 500 mill a quarter or something (ok maybe not that much but still) so I know what you mean. tbh paying 10 dollars a month for basically unlimited songs is an absolute steal - almost underselling of a product - but make it 20 dollars and everyone moves back to torrenting/illegally downloading.

i shed a tear every time i hear about the music listening culture of checking an album out once, then just saving a few songs from it to a playlist and never returning. then onto the next and repeat forever

with normies its fine but some real music heads are doing that s*** too :vlosereave:
