I've seen all his films. My mentor/professor in college was this cool Greek guy with long hair named Vas, so he showed us all of his films, which I never was that impressed, except by Dogtooth, though it's been so long I don't entirely remember the ending of it @Galaxy

I didn't love The Favourite/ didn't hate it either, definitely thought it was overrated. I didn't like Sacred Deer. All of his films are very allegorical and I thought the Lobster was actually most successful in that regard, though I remember not loving the second half of it.

The Favourite is more s***comedy/power play flick than allegory for me and a very funny one. Still haven't seen dogtooth.

Dogtooth was a p bizarre movie, seen it when it dropped and it really set the tone for things to come. Just lost interest in those cold odd euro flicks that were dropping at the time

One of my best friends is back in town for the first time since he moved to BC and he is here for like 5 days but he's having a really bad mental/anxiety block the last few days and cancelling last minute to hang out. I empathize with him and feel bad cause I've been in a similar head space but I have to keep working this re-schedule around my work/exercise schedule and potentially my sleep schedule to work this hangout in. I love the guy but I think I have the right to be mildly pissed about having to keep working around his stuff going on when we originally planned for a day we were all free

It's certainly frustrating with such a short time window. My friend and I both had Thursday fully free and Friday and Saturday night we opened up (Thursday I totally understood cause their flight here was delayed by some BS outta their control) and now I'm less open to opening it up. He can be frustrating in general and living with him was probably the worst possible roommate experience in existence

I never understood the 'don't room with your best friend' until I lived with him cause me and my other friend have lived with eachother for 6 years total and have never had any major problems that weren't easily solvable with a quick question or discussion

Love the billy woods love that's been happening this year but I never thought I'd see the day Rolling Stone put an album of his in their top 10 of the year lol, or Pitchfork give him a 9 and a top 3 album of the year

Real friends are harder to come by as you get older

He'll always be one of my best friends regardless of distance away from eachother and I don't think he's being selfish on purpose but he really really needs to work on himself right now. Can't imagine the stress he's putting on his gf

Yeah hopefully. The offense has enough talent to right the ship, but the defense is just bad outside of the line. The linebackers in particular are awful.
