Gonna try to fill a bunch of 70s blind spots in 2024 since it's my weakest decade. While also trying to add to my ladies list, and remain somewhat relevant in trying to catch up with new stuff... and re-listening to a bunch of 80s and 90s albums

  • Knowing myself, I'll fall behind on new stuff in favor of other stuff as always and remain 3-5 years behind at all times lol

I was looking in the wrong places and am pretty much attached only to the art-rock, ambient, and some jazz of the time. A lot of prog (which took over) I don't care for and Krautrock is hit or miss for me way more than it used to...

  • Can't remember the last time I listened to Rock Bottom but I don't think it hit for me anymore think i still put it high on my list out of respect

Eno made the 70s his playground of influence and creativity.

Many point to Bowie as the obvious goat of the decade but Eno was everywhere

Baby's on Fire might be the single song peak of his incredible 74

But TTM obviously the better album. Third Uncle close second probably

Yeah he obviously was a piece of s***, but it’s honestly really corny to gloat over a guy who died peacefully in bed surrounded by family at 100. He won. Everyone saying this will probably have random heart failure in their 70’s.

Its kinda corny but it has value like all symbolic things to do. If people are so relieved at a guy dying, there must be something there
