Didn’t sorry… we watched Blue Velvet, Fargo, this kinda cool film called coherence, nightcrawler which wasn’t very good, and the William Buckley/Gore Vidal documentary which wasn’t very good either, and Hiroshima, Mon Amour
I’ll add it to the list tho I’m going back to see em in December.

idk it had a good rating on letterboxd and I like Gyllenhaal so thought it would good. My dad and I looked at each other halfway through like what is this lul. surprisingly they liked Blue Velvet and were able to pick up on some of the themes

Really surprised I never heard about this band until now. The kinda 2000’s rock revival stuff that slots in somewhere with The Strokes and Interpol, but with a touch of emo. Melodically tho they remind me of New Order.

Nightcrawler is great. No other film captures that kind of sociopath as accurately.

Heath's Joker had a horrible influence on the industry and that movie is a prime example

I don’t really see this. He literally sleep deprived and starved himself. He wasn’t trying to be zany with his eyes. They were just naturally like that.
