the inflation on vintage shirts in the last 5 years is criminal. I see so many people in NYC wearing expensive 500 dollar shirts and I guarantee they've never listened to a single song by the band.
I have a vintage smiths Queen is Dead shirt. Bought it before the vintage trend so got it at a good price. And then got to wear it the day the queen died just to piss off my friends girlfriend who is a royal family addict
My mom is also a royal family addict. That s*** makes no sense to me. She cried like crazy when Princess Diana died but didn't shed a tear when her dad died (granted he was a POS)

i wish Boris played any of the older stuff when i saw them live last year. still was great but it was only the punkier stuff from the last few years where the drummer is the frontman instead of drumming

im glad i dont have a super high interesting in collecting in general so og pressing/w.e doesnt matter that much to me. i just like to collect used records that were owned by someone back in the day and are in decent condition. sometimes ill buy newer ones just because but it doesnt feel as cool to me
thats also why i mostly have ones from before the 80s, i like having the ones that were in the prime vinyl era
also its just fun to dig through all the cheaper used ones
