I mean all those albums are so different it's difficult to place one over the other. Totally different moods usually. Drukqs and The Tuss are the two I go back to most these days.

For a long time, Richard D James Album was my favorite Aphex but as weed and molly have helped me appreciate the more textural and sensuous aspects of music, Selected Ambient Works 85-92 has taken over. The repetition used to bother me but not anymore.

When I used to suffer dissociative episodes from anxiety in my teens, listening to Xtal was super interesting and calmed me down, but nowadays when I seek it out high it's so much more pleasurable rather than alien. It's cool how a perspective on a song can change over the course of your life.
