I love the uptempo pop tracks on that one like Green Light, Perfect Places, Supercut. But her songwriting isn't strong enough to carry the ballads

man most of her s*** outside a couple tracks on PH and Supercut just sounds like a basic white ass teenager tried to write some fake deep poetry. like i connect with lyrics more than anything these days, and Lorde just does not do it for me. it all feels like someone who can’t write tried to write lol
