Will never forget the moment last year when i pulled into the Sheetz by my house and got out to get gas and they were blasting "If There Is Something" in their speaker system. Instantly made me a Sheetz stan
Seeing Ferry perform that still one of my main concert highlights of the last decade

I'll never forget how good the chick that was ripping the sax/oboe parts was
she couldn't have been older than 40

Yeah I saw that one a few years back. I remember liking the Earth parts a lot more than the heaven/trial parts
@Bizzle finishing up The Crossing tonight - been an awesome ride
not even sure what to say about it yet, but it’s definitely blown me away.
got a question tho: do you think reading Stella Maris first would negatively impact my enjoyment of The Passenger? just cuz i’ve got my hands on the former rn and i’m super intrigued, whereas it’d probably take me a few days to find a copy of The Passenger.
Revisited the Fleet Foxes debut after many years and it’s a really lovely album. I forgot most of it.

The fact that they so successfully homaged not just Matter Of Life & Death but also Seventh Seal with the Reaper so well for a kids film
They both ended up being mega all timers for me, possibly with an assist for Bogus Journey lol

all their other stuff is cool but that debut is really special, some magical warmth to it

Yea Fleet Foxes are p much the most talented band of the last decade imo you could hear the growth with each album.

Finally got around to that Unwound album 'Leaves Turn Inside You'. Music is really great but idk about dudes vocal delivery. From what I've read this album is a departure from their 90s sound so I'll probably listen to their other stuff soon. Didn't realize all the vote-splitting they got in the 90s. Only one album made the list but they got votes for 3 or 4 albums I think

Yea that joint grows like all of Unwound's music but it really feels like the perfect ending of the band. Dense and transcendent
