But aside from those two it's kinda eh. Think there might be one other one.

Stand By Me, Know What I Mean, tbh I find all the songs somewhat enjoyable.

Went through all the previous lists we did and the 21st century one I was working on and settled on a top 100. In no particular order other than the top 5. Some 2020’s albums made it in just to have it feel up to date. Also I know everyone and their mother calls Random Access Memories overrated now, but that’s included cause I listened to that like religiously when it first came out and I have so many fond memories sharing it with friends and family from my more musically picky bros to my old school grandmother and they all loved it. It’s just a nice celebration of music. Would be lying to myself if it didn’t make it.

like those albums are flawless and there's another albums worth of b-sides that are just as amazing as dm and wtsmg

The b-sides are the real treasures, as usual with a Brit band

Agree completely on RAM and I think it's probably become a bit overhated. Was inescapable at parties during my first year of university and I'll always have fond memories of it

An interesting listening experience is to take two albums you’re already really familiar with—that are connected in some way whether thematically, stylistically, or where one influenced the other—and to play them back to back track by track. It especially helps if they have an equal number of tracks. Deserter’s Songs and The Soft Bulletin would be a good example of this.

I hate AI as much as the next guy, but these weird experiments are fascinating. I’ve always said that this Jet ballad would be liked if some 90’s Britpop band made it instead. I get why Jet was hated in the 2000’s, but that song is pretty lovely tbh at least melodically. It sounds like something Noel would have written in 95. Obviously Liam’s voice sounds almost robotic and off, but you can kinda hear how natural it would have sounded if it was real.
