No broski its not strictly a covid issue, 2019 changed the way states/cities are ran in every aspect because everything had become politicized. "If you agree with this, we agree with that" bullshit. Its not a coincidence that the eastern half of a state (Oregon) would rather separate then be looped in with lib Portland. Clearly people arent happy

Funny thing with progressive cities is they literally only care about the crime, addiction and homelessness when it arrives on their doorstep. Then its an issue but keep it one district and its just one of those things.

Keep the homeless and addicts in the tenderloin and skid row but let it creep anywhere else into rich San Fran and its a national emergency.. S*** the mayor of Portland was all for the riots until he got pepper sprayed, punched in the face and had his private residence breached. Get them outta here!!

Yeah the homeless situation over here seems to have doubled since COVID but I hear it's way worse on the west coast
