Yeah I’ve seen a lot of fish guts lately

on the farm the chickens and cows and stuff are basically just chilling till suddenly they're dead so you dont get to see them struggle much. pigs were a different story they were smart enough to see it coming and would never sit there and get shot so pops used to have to get like 4 of his loggers boys to hold a big cage while he shot a frantic pig inside. they would often take more than one shot too so the cage stopped them from bolting with a bullet in them.

Yeah a slaughterhouse sounds grim. I'm fine with eating meat as it's nature but so many of these places just treat the animals like trash.

Fish generally just get bonked on the head and then stabbed in the brain but you know how it is with this sashimi stuff, sometimes they butcher the fish alive for.. whatever reason.
