Ever since Elric made a comment on the wub-wub bass bullshit in TPAB's first track, I've had that album at around a 6/10
it's funny how one little comment from any random person can affect you like that
The rest of ryms top 10 is pretty much what Ud expect
Madvilliany
Loveless
In rainbows (the Radiohead d*** riding on this site is insane lol)
Dark side of the moon
Abbey road
The trio of RYM d***riding
Radiohead/Kendrick/Beatles

Radiohead/Kendrick/Beatles
Pretty much sums it up
Still love those albums except TPAB which simply isn't for white boys
funny because pretty sure the people who got it voted as #1 are all the (mostly) white teenagers that flood the site now
Gkmc is 11 btw lol
GKMC at #11 is worse than TPAB being #1 honestly

i’ll never forget that moment in junior year when multiple of my white, hip hop nerd friends told me that To Pimp a Butterfly was their favorite album of all time like a month after it dropped.
i said “cool” and then immediately decided to never take their music tastes seriously again

I agree, no album with poetic justice or real on it should be that high lol

the closing 2 tracks are also such a step down from most of it

Should’ve finished at sing about me dying of thirst fs

i do accept GKMC as a great album but im still just waiting for the effect of overplay/associating with my high school years to wear off. that's like the only album that hasn't worn off for yet
i just cant imagine trying to throw on some of those songs like B**** Don't Kill My Vibe or Backseat Freestyle

I swear mbdtf (28th )used to be so much higher on this list. Kanye’s recent comments and actions have done quite a number on its ratings on here lol

Kanye was never really much of an RYM darling. His highest stuff was just hardly over 4 last time I checked. Not surprised the woke RYM mafia are prob voting it all lower
Igor and Blonde are going to be in the top 10 within 5 years

I could never understand the appeal of igor. Did fantano give that a high grade as well?

pretty sure MBDTF was like #15 or something at one point and a few of his others were top 100. along with being one of the most rated artists on the site. definitely qualifies as a RYM darling honestly it just doesnt outweigh how much of a darling he is/was with music nerds in general
just checked and he's still got #28 (4.09), #59 (4.08), #107 (4.01), #309, #517 which is likely one of the stronger showings from an artist

Yeah anyone with more than one album over a 4.0 is an rym darling

not sure. i think its still good tbh and better than tyler's other stuff, i think people form an emotional connection with it too that I don't relate to but I understand zoomers liking it
i think its a good album. but in a few years the overall top chart is going to look indistinguishable from browsing tiktok feed of people's top favorite albums ever which is boring af.
site is always going to be god tier at discovering any lesser known music, i havent had any use for the top charts in years now
