you always ask this and I always tell you I usually don't even look at track names till I've listened to an album for a good while (other than the one I posted because it was so goofy) And just off the abstract nature of the Apjex Twins music I'm often not even sure when the last song ended and the next one began.

I like Alvvays but I’m still not sold on how their last album was mixed. I think for that reason alone I’d say the better indie pop album of last year was Expert in a Dying Field by The Beths. Its worth checking out if you like that sound.

Even I’m not big on the later stuff outside of a couple songs per album. I probably wouldn’t even appreciate the later stuff if rap hadn’t sampled it to death.

Both top 10 albums from last year. I quite like the muddy sounding mixing on the alvvays album

It will probably grow on me, but I usually love their sense of melody and the way the vocals are drowned out a bit distracts from that. Still a good album, I just definitely prefer their previous two.

The Beths record gets better and better every time I hear it. Just front to back earworms that I constantly end up singing to myself
