lets see how we feel after a real digestion. doesnt seem right to compare jara to rock guys anyway but i havent heard much of him. maybe you just love those chileansim only 2 albums into Jaivas (alturas of machu picchu which i heard a few years ago and went back to the 2nd one because it has mira ninita)
what about Arco Iris?
i havent listened yet but seems to be more like Jaivas with the indigenous and folk aspect. their guy Gustavo Santaolalla also seems to be one of the biggest figures in that whole movement, he repeatedly kept discovering and producing the next big things once he was in his middle age. and then he just started making soundtracks like for Brokeback Mountain, Jane the Virgin, Making a Murderer and the Last of Us gameswhy you still skipping this classic
