velvet self titled feels even more fideliocore to me for some reason
I still stand by what I said
here's some more early Elliot vibes but by a New Yorker who can write ballads but will also shank you

This movie was super gay and weird and not in a cool way
its fine if youre comfortable with your sexuality

Nothing to do with sexuality at all movie just gave me the creeps and cinematic blue balls at the same time

First or second self titled?
first one is called & Nico to avoid confusion
Oh yeah of course. Love that album. First is better though. Like both much more than White Light/White Heat. Still feel like I’m being gaslit over that record.

I’m Set Free was acoustic too?
Thought it was electric

hmm surprised the delicate lo-fi vibe of the 3rd album isn't your fave

no just my personal favourite velvet song

I like it well enough that it made my list, but will never (no matter how many times I hear it) like it as much as some of you. I hate pretty much everything it influenced. But we’ve had this discussion a million times.

It’s too samey. Not a criticism really because I love that sound, but the debut is just so much more varied. It has flourishes of what they would do on WL/WH but balances that out with some of their most gorgeous tracks and Nico’s touches also give it more flavor. The shifts in style give that record amazing flow. The final track I think is more experimental and interesting than anything on the follow up.
"Heroin" is really the only TVU song I give a f*** about. Everything else is like.... alright.
