sure, the surreal humor is rather subdued and it was far more overt in Dylan's case but there are similarities in their way of storytellng so I get that a***ogy (like the mentioned word play. I don't know if it was intentional but it's just the way it comes off to me.).
Just because you can compare an artist to another doesn't mean they are as good or like them as much. That would make The Strokes as good The Velvet Underground or Coldplay as good as Radiohead or U2.
Chopper kind of works in the album context but not as a standalone.
Also, the production is pretty amazing although it takes a few listens to sink in.
Yea I love the production throughout. DJ Dahi, S1 always got fire
drake discussion itt is at a dangerous level
If you wanna see some Curb tier cringe just watch Drake in this interview. He seems like a massive tool and my respect for him as a person plummeted when I saw it. Still has hot jams but yeah he's a f***ing geek.

jack nicholsons character in Easy Rider was great
and he was lowkey lookin like a snack

You should peep jacks whole classic run tbh, man ran the 70s and hit glorious tiers of ham never seen before in the 80s. The goat as far as actors that basically just be themselves.
Trevor Noah has the worst delivery I've ever seen on a late night host dear lord he is insufferable
S*** like that makes me wish Conan was running the Tonight Show now

!https://youtu.be/14hwSrlKsycThat IG response to Adidon permanently labeled him a bitch in my eyes
He was on an episode of Curb lol
I don't recall that, must not have know who he was last time I saw that ep
ok I'm in the Casino>Goodfellas camp. Almost as if Goodfellas was a test for the latter one. The editing is even more interesting, the microcosmos more intricate and the drama far more devastating. Also, Liotta cannot hold a candle to De Niro as a lead.
also, almost gelt as if half of the score were either Stones songs or covers.

I think Casino was the test for Irishman
I think Casino was the test for Irishman
nah, I think The Irishman is more an elderly reflection on that same type of world. However, The Irishman would rank just below Casino for me.
1. Taxi Driver
2. Mean Streets
3. After Hours
4. Casino
5. The Irishman
6. Raging Bull
7. The King of Comedy
8. Alice doesn't live here anymore
9. Goodfellas
10. Cape Fear
