Mom and pop stores were the best, but I was more of a Hollywood Video guy when it came to the big chains

There were always Blockbusters near me but Hollywood Video had a cooler vibe

There's still a mom & pop place in my old neighborhood weirdly enough but that area was mostly old euro immigrants so I guess they were a bit.. behind the times

Tonight me and my husband went to this local crafts and food vendor holiday market thing that was hosted in the event room of a big casino here. We only went cause some of the proceeds from the market are going to my hospital, so it's been promoted at my work for the past couple weeks. (And it seemed like a good place to get xmas gifts for people cause we haven't gotten any yet.)

When we were leaving we had to walk through the casino, and my husband couldn't resist putting $20 in a slot machine. He lost it all in like 3 mins.

Then i stopped at a machine right next to the exit cause it looked kind of fun. I put $20 in, spun it 4 times ($12) and won $1000

I hit the cash out button fast af and said "okay lets get tf outta here"
