Sith is a very enjoyable movie despite having many of the same flaws as Phantom and Clones

Some bad acting and cringy romance, pacing gets a little flabby in the middle, but you can't deny that final act

I think everything just flows so much better in that one. Always thought that's where the prequels should have begun, with Anakin and Obi Wan as bros fighting the war and then the whole fall taking up the entire final movie.

Dude went from "what have I done!?!?" to slaughtering children in like a 10 minute span

    models, puppets, etc

i could see this being the case tbh. i imagine the budget must’ve been waaaay bigger than what was in the OG trilogy

as much as i dislike the first 2 prequels, at least i can find redeeming qualities in them, unlike Rise of Skywalker lol

The podrace, everything Jar Jar and the gungans, the droids, a lot of the scenery. Whatever the "score count" for practical effects is it still felt like you were looking at a video game half the time.

I liked the fight in the Death Star ruins and Han's ghost. Otherwise.. yeah. Just a rush job after Rian eviscerated a lot of TFA's plot points I guess.

yeah that Han scene was my favorite part of the movie. it didn’t feel as fan-servicey or rushed as the other s*** in the movie

I respect the take and I think Lucas always has heart in whatever he does but ultimately I just see the first two as a goofy mess

The Disney films I just think are all built on a broken foundation. I think The Force Awakens is one of the most soulless films ever made. It is essentially cinematic tracing. The Last Jedi for all its attempts to be different can never transcend what it’s intrinsically linked to. I actually like Rise Of Skywalker the most of the sequels because it’s such an embarrassing train wreck that it’s amusing. I haven’t laughed harder in a theater then when Chewey fake dies or at lines like this,

i actually like Force Awakens tbh. i feel like the movie did what it needed to do: build a basic launchpad for the rest of the trilogy…but of course we all know they didn’t have an outline in mind at the end lol

Giving the trilogy to 3 different directors with no story in place is some real amateur s*** on Disney's part. It's like they were playing hot potato So bizarre.
