@drjdeponytail you heard of this '80s movie Street Trash?
Yeah, I’ve seen it. Not bad, but it felt a little too gross and edgy for the sake of being gross and edgy for me
what's everyone's favorite song of each decade?
think we've talked about it before but I forgot a lot
He got Syd'd?
pretty much. First and second solo album were full of his own compositions but the subsequent solo albums were mostly him playing songs by other people (his brother).
His early joints are some of his best

the man who's always giving me s*** for not typing artists names in a straightforward manner
the man who's always giving me s*** for not typing artists names in a straightforward manner
Yeah. He got mad at me for typing my lists out in lowercase and then he goes and does that. Disgraceful.
Smashing Pumpkins - Bodies is my other #1 of the 90s
(along with a dozen others)
Picking one song for an entire decade is way too hard
didnt think it would be Dylan for this decade but Come To Life is the only other contender
also, what about the new björk? any opinions? didn't listen yet
idk but i just got to Homogenic which is amazing
He got Syd'd?
well syd was probably dabbling before Floyd got big and just gobbled too much whereas peter got huge as a staunch blues purist in '66-'67 before he start started dabbling and slowly let his broadened perspective take hold of the music. things were already tense with the band cause peter wanted to give all their songwriting royalties away to charity but then they went to a weird bougie german hippie party and the other guys say Peter got dosed with some bad acid and was never the same
