Heard this one yet? One of the top ten psych albums for me. Not a random generic sound like you said, Gary Usher was Brian Wilson's childhood friend and early co-songwriter and he teamed up with Curt Boettcher (producer of a handful of the best late 60s albums by the Byrds etc) to create a studio project they called Sagittarius. Did a tremendous job following Brians footsteps for baroque studio experimentation and even partially did what Smile was supposed to do in 1967.

Wrong side of the globe
Pretty Things were the third pillar in the Abbey Road Holy Trinity of '67-'68 along with Beatles and Floyd
"Normal" Norman Smith brought his engineering and producing techniques learned working under George Martin with the Beatles for years to the other two bands which helped them realize their wildest ideas.

You asked if I heard it

It’s fine. Even if you listened to it and gave a detailed response about how you felt, he’d just ignore it and recommend something else.

I know I complain about tone being hard to gauge on here all the time but seriously I was messing around. Also re-listened to Present Tense, definitely was mixing it up with S.F. Sorrow for some reason. They’re very different, no idea why I mixed them up, but yeah Present Tense is more up my alley. Both great tho.
