I left because they invited that annoying dude Twitch in who wouldnt stop asking if I'm "into pedo s***" cause I didn't think PTA was co-signing pedophilia with Licorice Pizza like he did
I pretty much begged dude to agree to disagree so that we could remain civil but he wasn't having it. nobody else in the thread saw it like him but because I have the PTA avi he wouldn't stop harassing me so I had to block him which no big deal. But then they invited him into the kino chat section and all the sudden every third post was "this person replied to blocked user" which hurt my eyes and was annoying so I just left. what's the point of a private film section if you're going to invite in any annoying smooth brain a****** that doesn't know how to absorb art and let people live. I'm curious how bro is hanging out in there knowing they're all fans of Roman Polanski who's an actual pedophile.

so I dipped quietly and wasn't even going to say anything until I realized I was locked out of my own Best Films thread

The section isn't very active in general because of how the thread topics are and whatnot (kinda reminds me of OG rock/indie a little) — but i actually kinda like that. Especially threads like your "Best of year" ones.
I wouldnt be surprised if Twitch and a good chunk of other recent members end up leaving or forgetting about the section in the next couple months, cause its not nearly as active as Tv/Film and they probably wont like that
