    There's a good number of 2010s hip-hop artists who released imo at least one classic (or more):

    I don’t think anything released last decade is a classic besides MBDTF. It usually takes longer than a decade for me to call something a classic. It’s also a weird thing that people talk about exclusively with hip-hop.

    I would probably take 2010's over 2000's rap.. Maybe :mystery:

    Definitely, 2000s rap was killing me by 2003 converted almost entirely to rock for a few years. Kanye, Clipse and Wayne like the only rap I still have from that period.

    Yea man its funny you mentioned that cause I remember taking years away from rap during the mid 2000's.. It was like HHNF then nothing after..

    I jumped back into rap with Section 80 and XXX I think

    You need to check the album out it's amazing and totally modern. They play alot of the instruments live too.

    07-09 was a very weak 3 year span for hip-hop imo. Some people will point to Graduation or Tha Carter III as certified classics but IMO they are lesser albums from artists who had done better on previous albums (and for Kanye, later too). Not saying it was all bad but def a dry spell

    Think the game was adjusting to Kanye? He was like when The Beatles showed up to early 60s rock stagnation and it took everybody a couple years to readjust
