FellaYou guys seem to think that something needs to be innovative or complex for it to be good. Sometimes a simple straightforward song can be better than a 20 minute barrage of noise.
I get where you're coming from, it's the Beatles and everything they did is catchy and sounds good because of George Martin... but you can also criticize a song that just repeats the chorus over and over at being a little lazy

not mad at that. Its pacing and ferocity is really great. Sister Ray is just a behemoth though (being unquestionable a top 5 song ever for me, European Son is an all timer too)

It’s the way the harmonies overlap. It has a weird ghostly quality to it. Like you’re hearing something from the past intruding on the present. I can’t quite explain it.
