Something about "The Gift" is so entrancing. I don't even listen to the story, I just listen to the improvisation over the steady rhythm. The voice is almost like backgroubd music as well @RASIE @Aruji preparing for VU supremacy in the very last 60s thread later this year
Need a mono version with just the music on both sides at this point tbh

Yeah i feel the same way about that song. And i listen to it the same way too: the spoken word story quickly just transforms into another "instrument" in the song for me, and its really calming to listen to. Love the raw noise of the music too.
Same thing with Reed's "The Possum" on Ecstacy.
