UIPlmfaooooo anybody who heard the context he says it in and is still mad at him for saying it is a f***in moron. that song is really good and has some of the best themes on the album

Also I really can’t gauge the politics I hear people talking about in the Kendrick album. One song he’ll mock cancel culture and defend free speech, then he’ll be like I have to confront how I objectify women. Maybe he’s not NPR lecturing and he just has his own views like average people.

Yeah his views are all over the place which is humanizing. He’s just a guy thinking about a bunch of different things and trying to articulate his personal feelings. It never goes in one narrow direction.

Someone called Kendrick just NPR rap for ashamed white people. It’s hard not to see their point but I’m still looking forward to listening when I have the time to throw it on in the car.
I mean what exactly is NPR Rap
the genre has p much been white washed but its not like Kendrick is intentionally catering to that audience. Its more like the NPR Rap scene has clung to Kendrick for a "black experience"
