somebody door dumped their cat and five kittens at the shelter i work at like 3 weeks ago. i got first dibs on naming them so i named the mom Mothra and the infants Gojira, Gidorah, Rodan, Hedorah, and Kong.
they’ve been losing weight the past week because Mothra is sick and seems tired of nursing, and 4 days ago i went in and saw that Gojira had died over night.
he was the runt and was down to half a pound, so i’m fostering the other 4 right now feeding them milk with syringes and giving em baths every couple days. i dewormed them so hopefully that combined with the feeding and monitoring helps them start gaining weight. 🤞

he spent the whole promotion cycle talking about how the studio made him make a ton of changes to make the movie more palatable to general audiences/commercially viable.
my guess is his original vision was slower, more insular, probably longer too.
maybe we will get a directors cut down the line

I dont mind cats but they just kind of lounge around like a******s. I dont see myself ever owning one unless a girlfriend really really wanted one or something.

Dogs are good dudes but I'm too lazy and selfish to walk them as much as they need to be walked and train them the way they need to be trained. Too many embarrassing dog owners out here have no control over their dogs and I don't want to be one of those idiots.
