yeah im not that well versed yet but he's fire. also can definitely understand why people say hes one of the most important figures in the whole genre, the style of playing does feel so much different to swing era s*** etc. and you can really tell how basically the remainder of jazz to come was based in that DNA

been watching the Ken Burns jazz doc, its good so far but planning to stop before it hits the ~50s-60s and apparently the hardline jazz traditionalist agenda sets in

I think 90s was the only results where no artist got multiple albums in the top 10. Will prob stay that way with Bowie or Eno and VU in de 60s
