I haven't noticed energy bills getting worse (I think we have an abundance of hydro energy) and the pandemic seems to have jacked up the wages around here cause nobody wants to work but it doesn't matter that much when food and gas and everything cost this much. What that called again?

The energy thing has been officially announced today and people are f***ing furious lol. A lot of countries in Europe have intervened on things like this in the last year and forced energy companies to swallow the brunt of it: https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/jan/14/france-edf-cap-household-energy-bills
