Bowie and Prince were devastating but I found out by a slow trickle in here so not as shocking

those 2 were pretty wild but not as crazy for me since i hadnt even been a fan of them for that long at that point

I had been stanning for ten plus years and had seen them both live (which makes you feel like you know then much better) but Bowie was especially devastating cause I grew up watching Labrynth nonstop and Blackstar had come out 48 hours before and blew us away

still waiting for blackstar to start blowing me away instead of being a top 10-15 bowie album with a cooler context/themes

Well of course I mainly mean title track and the other few highlights which were giving me Station vibes but the recency bias was strong
