@Elric when you gonna hop on 1929?
'28 is pretty packed tbh
just trying to enjoy silent films last hurrah
Couple more weeks. Re-watched half of Man Who Smiled last night still great. Conrad was the man.
both tinderbox and peep are my fave, probably cause the sound is way more a "poppy" new wave than gothic post-punk altho I like all albums i've heard

I think it's really peak silent era even 1927 too. 1928 got Vidor and Sternberg throwing classic after classics. Might be kind of hard to rank this. I think Dreyer's Passion Joan of Arc might be cemented my top 1 pick of that year.
Maybe if we finish 1929 and we can rank all of the films for the decade

i need a hartley poster
I just say hipster because nobody knows what the hell Pandora's Box is
Always thought meatloaf was like the worst s*** I could conceive of so
How dare you old man. Bat Out of Hell 1 & 2 are slappers

End of feb but I'm gonna be really annoying with my reminders at the end of January
when’s the deadline for that 80s list?
End of jan would be cool cause I'll be really annoying about tagging until the full deadline at the end of feb
i need a hartley poster
the amateur was like 35 but the no such thing was only 3.5 eur so I had to get both
gonna do it ghetto and put it up with tacs instead of framing it
Hipster version of Meatloaf
Same songwriter/composer
With actual likeable vocalists though.
The albums
Dylan's my goat so Blonde inches away but I just can't have a top 5 that starts with something like Rainy Day Women
And dang I'm just about to dive into Tinderbox so I won't hear Peepshow for a while
they been my new favorite band for a couple years now
Rainy Day Women is a banger
it’s Pledging My Time that’s the weakest link
white light >>
Braves fam
you a UGA fan too? Bravos broke the curse
Ive only seen Amateur, what should I watch next
Hartleys legend was made off Unbelievable Truth and Trust so those
Rainy Day Women is a banger
it’s Pledging My Time that’s the weakest link
