Revisted Random Access Memories thinking maybe I’d end up falling in line with everyone and their mother saying it’s overrated now but nah it only grew on me strangely enough. With their retirement in retrospect it feels like the perfect way to cap off their career.

Why is their most ambitious record compositionally with one of the greatest session drummers ever pouring his heart out with their most varied production and growth as songwriters worse than the early stuff which is just a s*** ton of loops made exclusively for clubs. If Elric just dismissed something you were fondly remembering as “ass” you’d call him annoying too, I’ve seen you do it. I prefer when people make actual arguments in a music forum.
