not everybody is down to constantly be referred to as an loser, bro. Feel like you are kinda beating a dead horse the same way you keep using my stature and location as an insult. But prairie giant (actually funny and true) isn't nearly as insulting as something like loserio. I'd say you're giving fidelio the befly treatment except fidelio doesnt deserve it. Just my opinion on your sometimes glaring lack of when to stop the insult train
some are more sensitive than others and there's nothing wrong with that
this is what a steady diet of capeshit does to the brain

It was the silent films tbh
I said nothing about the way you live your life. What are you talking about. You make s*** personal, not me.
I am the MCU fan you bring up in literally every single letterbox review you've ever written
I’m not nearly the MCU hater I’m made out to be. I like Cap 1, Iron Man 1 & 3, both Guardians films, Avengers 1 & Infinity War, Dr. Strange, and Thor 3.
This makes it even more annoying
Also the fact that I talk s*** on half the MCU movies but when we're arguing about something you act like I stan every single movie and don't know any other films in history

You’re reading way too into that. No you’re not.
oh yea thoughts on the host?
Thought it was a good monster flick with some interesting social commentary. I want to watch it again this time focusing more on the political subtext but yeah quite enjoyable film. Finishing Silence right now.
all the best marvel movies were before the "MCU" anyway (besides iron man)
Blade and og Spider Man's >>>

Well I'm still sick of reading your reviews and hearing about the MCU in every goddamn one. Especially because you are getting way better at elucidating youself on there when you just stfu about marvel. I already told you but I'll tell you again so you don't think I'm being a total a******; sometimes I think I'm reading a professional review lately when I read your stuff.
It's a dead horse and youre above it at this point

Yeah when I referred to MCU I just meant anything Marvel related really. But I get there's the whole shared universe thing surrounding The Avengers.

I barely mention the MCU in my reviews. I review a million other things where that never comes up. Wtf are you talking about. I only mentioned the MCU in my two recent reviews because guess what…they were MCU movies.
Do you guys think the MCU model is killing independent cinema or is that bullshit? I personally think it can't be a good thing for smaller non blockbusters.

Yes. Spielberg, Wright, and Scott who used to be viewed as populist filmmakers are now being treated as artsy fartsy “real cinema” and their films are bombing. The only things that can make a buck anymore is cheap Blumhouse horror films, A24 indie stuff, and major blockbusters. The middle budget film is dead.

It probably is but that's a whole other argument

@twinkletoez @basedspirit @Koala yall see Pilot Talk 4 dropping this Friday?
The editing in modern blockbusters now is so transparent that it’s compensating or attempting to correct for people who get distracted and look at their phones. Rarely anything feels big cause you never have time to sit with a scene. It’s why despite feeling a bit empty after watching Dune, I appreciated it’s David Lean sense of weight. Same with the new Bond tbh.

Working right now (not in a cubicle you little b****) will take a quick tally of your MCU mentions layer
Yikes at what the MCU did to Vincent D'Onofrio. Glad they kept him but damn does he look dumb.
