I think he genuinely sees the merit in certain groups and is trying to pull the talent out of them. When he worked with Coldplay he pushed them to get better individually as musicians by separating and experimenting on their own. I don’t think he would do that if it was just a money grab.

Wild that you're holding the success of the son of a mailman against him when all he did was make art you stan and help noobs get better. Definitely the type of person you want to glean knowledge off of if you're the type to glean.

Well I agree with Fidelio despite not loving those two artists. Eno the type to go all out for other musicians regardless of popularity/acclaim.

Thought this was a reply to my Coldplay/U2 question. I'm neutral on the NFT statement but like I said I am positive the intentions are good, just said it looks hypocritical but he earned his place at the top by being a GOAT.

Some reason could never get into U2. I don't think they're bad but they wouldn't make a sniff at any of my decade lists

Holy s*** he's done 5 Coldplay albums and not much else so yeah that's probably paying the bills but I'm sure he's having a good time as well. be cool if he found someone that could really shake him him up and vice versa.
