was thinking bout Louie lately, time for this mon to start making another mini series or something. His fans will always buy his work via his website anyway.
I always liked his shows better than his specials, except Hilarious and Beacon Theater. I think that was his peak.

Just need another season of Louie tbh

Same, I always loved his shows more than the standups.. But im glad to see he's getting his groove back.

You could see how each season he was trying new things and pushed the show into a new direction. Then he really started hitting peak with Horace & Pete

The Cops was gonna be bananas
Michael Rapaport as the a****** cop haha "Come here ya big piece of s***, how are ya"
and Buzz from Home Alone as the driver haha

The ending was perfect tbh. I’d love a season in 30 years when he’s super old though.
Strong argument tbh.
Nico up there, but it's hard to put one over the other cause they're such opposite vibes and so great at what they do
Thinking about it now, I might put Lisa Germano at #1. But totally different vibe, like you said. And I can pretty much throw Talking Heads on at any time

The ending where Parker Posey dies on New Years and he mourns by flying to China and eating dinner with a random family is my favorite

Remember when he was chasing a duckling and got in the middle of a potential shootout between Iraqis and us soldiers?

That show was too good I have to rewatch it
I'd make the argument that Talking Heads first four albums is the strongest first four ever. Rebuttals are welcome. Nick Cave would be there but the cover album and Your Funeral tug it down a lil bit
metallica is a good contender tbh

Yea I was thinking about them too and they're a very convincing top 5 easily. I don't love AJFA though.

Dude Guided By Voices is one of those bands I never really jammed a full album, they got so many.. Whats your favs ?

I can’t find it but the episode where one Best Buy employee pushed Louie over another who was crouching down. Then they look at the security camera footage and this f***ing genius Louie hires a dude that looks a bit similar to him but is fatter to play him

Hate to be cliche but Kanye and Smiths

bee thousand top 10 of the 90s

Obviously I disagree with the goddamn Smiths but sure, to each their own. With Kanye, just the first 4 is easily top 10 but imo Grad is weaker than the other 3 and drags it a bit. Would have to be first five for Kanye to gain alot of ground (which he would)

oh man what a question lmao, the two big canonical albums are alien lanes and bee thousand, and tbh not a bad place to start. you cant really go wrong with any of their albums before the 2004 hiatus
some highlights from a few others i dig: self-inflicted aerial nostalgia, vampire on titus, tonics and twisted chasers, under the bushes under the stars, half smiles of the decomposed, propeller
