Widely considered the best one. Too bad Cuaron couldn't do the rest of the series. None of them are bad though.

i was never interested to watch them because i had already read the books and assumed theyd just be worse. and never saw the first one so i wasnt gonna go to the theater and see the 5th one or w/e

guess i was a bit of a purist even back then in some ways

I totally understand nitpicking over movies if you just read the books tho but if you haven't read them anytime recently you should absolutely watch the movies because they're pretty Christmassy and classic
