masterpiece if you like Hitch with social commentary and absurdist Screwball comedy a la Blake Edwards. There is a lot more but I won't spoil anything. Only one thing, the characters are more metaphorical masks for certain aspects of class struggle (and more) than just characters.

A lot better than Roma but I liked Roma tbh. Easily my favorite film of 2019 so far. I still have to watch many films from that year but it's pretty impressive so I don't know if it will be topped. Would top many of my previous year lists.

To the people who rave about Uncut Gems: How would you compare it to Good Time?

I liked Good Time back then but it was a little generic aside from a things here and there. The direction was okay to good but I didn't really see the hype. Especially all the fuzz about it reviving the genre film.

I've somehow had a complete 180 on film this past week. Whereas in the past, I would easily get tired or distracted during a film, I've managed to actually stay engagded recently. Maybe it's cause I've liked all the films I've been watching but even in the past I would get extremely bored even on movies I was enjoying
