Did you ever listen to their Unplugged?
Nah just finally appreciating this
Sounds more like a Ray Davies dream
you been listening to alot of Neil?
havent been listening to him at all but briefly talked about him with my dad yesterday so maybe thats why

Dirt not too "buttrock" for you?
their unplugged doesnt do much for me, id never listen to those versions over the studio versions. havent heard a mtv unplugged album that did something for me though really
why would I ever listen to the unplugged version of Nutshell when I have to put up with 1 and a half minutes of annoying crowd cheering and the vocal performance isn't even better than the studio version. and its missing the electric guitar solo
Alice in Chains - Unplugged is just heart wrenching to watch and hear because Layne legit seems close to his death on it. Of course, he'd survive a couple of more years, but that album feels like a final chapter
I Stay Away has to be one of the most glorious riffs of all time
YYEEEEAAAAA HEYYYY I WANT TO TRAVEL SOUTH THIS YEARRRRR
honestly, watching the video version makes the unplugged much better too
yea it's about watching it more so than just listening to it. definitely feels like the perfect send off for the band
also all the s/t songs sound much better. Like Frogs and Sludge Factory are so much better than the studio versions

better send off

theyre cool but no way, need that heaviness of the s/t
better send off
ngl hate that song
ngl hate that song
this one probably better

nah ive always felt like s/t just sucked the soul out of layne's vocals to the point where they just background noise. He's my favorite part of the band by far and that just makes him feel secondary

agreed but they nailed Sludge Factory
wish they did Shame in You

i love layne so much but jerry def their goat for me, ofc the writing and guitar + the harmonies that honestly make layne sound twice as good as he would alone
one of my favorite vocal combos ever and so unique sounding

see i would feel the same if their new albums didnt stink lol
that Unplugged is great. Got Me Wrong and Brother give off them good vibes
S***s great better than Nirvana’s and that ones dope too
