Its not that your a pleb it's that videogames are the one single art form that can do what the rest of them do all at the same time and then some. Letting the music and the sound design and special effects do their work is integral. I cannot overstate how many beautiful memories I have tied to videogame music and I know everyone else in here agrees.

Its not that your a pleb it's that videogames are the one single art form that can do what the rest of them do all at the same time and then some. Letting the music and the sound design and special effects do their work is integral. I cannot overstate how many beautiful memories I have tied to videogame music and I know everyone else in here agrees.
im not really looking for a masterful deep artistic experience
and despite enjoying video games music in the past I don't think I had any beautiful memories attached to it

what the f*** is league of legends
one of the biggest games in the world and the biggest pro competitive game with endless replayability that is also constantly changing despite technically being a decade old at this point
everyone looks down on it though and it has a reputation to be addicting

i dont play competitively, i mean it has the biggest pro scene
kinda wild how teams and events are sponsored by massive companies like Samsung, Coca Cola, Kia, Mercedes, ofc tech companies, etc. with stadium events
i havent paid attention to the competitive scene since like early college but it was fun to watch sometimes

my favorite games have never been the immersive or story-focused type ofc with the massive exception of elder scrolls ones
a few endlessly replayable ones with no story were always a staple ex: civilization, rollercoaster tycoon
