It’s looked bad with most of what they’ve shown. The casting is all wrong, the aesthetic feels like a fan film, it lacks the charm and idiosyncrasies of Japanese media, just everything is off. Then they released a recent trailer and I was somewhat more sold on it cause it had more of the right feel, but then I heard the news that they’re using Deadpool as a tonal reference and now I’m completely against it.

Deadpool and Rick & Morty completely ruined modern humor. Everyone’s trying to copy it. I’d take Bob’s Burgers clones over that edgy meta crap.
