but now that you bring it up, the other day I had to return a cat I adopted at a shelter about three weeks ago so my boy Charles could have another friend to play with after his brother passed a couple months ago. We took both of them to the vet for a checkup and the vet was like "you do know she has feline aids right?" and we're just like
Apparently she is ok but she could've transmitted it the cat we already had and he could've gotten sick. After that we had to take her back to the shelter and they had to say was "well it's not THAT big of a deal is it?" They weren't really getting along anyway and Charles seems happier now that she's gone but she was a sweetheart

they knew and didn't say s***. We mentioned several times we had another cat so it's just one of those things where they're trying to get as rid of as many cats as they can. Still pretty ridiculous, the vet was actually as pissed as we were they didn't say anything
