i think everybody just had some misleading expectations on how it was gunna sound (myself included) so to hear it sound basically like the avg Thug album with some softer acoustic tracks is a lil disappointing.

overall tho, the album is good with barely any bad songs and continues to grow on me with each listen

Other than Life Aquatic it’s my favorite from him. I also really find the scene with Jason Schwartzman saying goodbye to the Indian girl on the train really moving. It’s like both an extension and flip on the dynamic between Luke Wilson and the Spanish girl in Bottle Rocket.

Gotta be honest I’m not really feelin Punk after first listen, which is p disappointing considering I’ve loved all his solo joints since they dropped starting w 1017 thug. But I know damn well you can’t judge based off one listen so there’s hope yet
