Well, she changes styles every album. But to bring you my love is epic but in a different kind of way, think Henry’s dream nick cave but better. White chalk is her piano album which I think many ppl in this thread would dig cuz they love the good son. Is this desire is her kind trip hop type of album but it’s way different than any trip hop album cuz there’s a lot of sounds thrown in there. And stories is her most alt rock album and she kills that too.

She’s not for everyone. I will admit that but I just love everything she does cuz it fits perfectly into what I prefer music wise. I will say it sometimes takes a few listens

I find her so much more interesting than the other 90s female singer songwriters bjork Fiona apple, alanis, Tori Amos, etc

ever listen to Lisa Germano? She is far and beyond my favourite artist of the 90s and probably top 3 all time. Imo she blows every other female artist out the water.

radiohead had a pretty good peak for a 3 album stretch. I think The Bends and In Rainbows are amongst the most overrated albums ever and everything after Amnesiac is average except for A Moon Shaped Pool which restored my faith in them.
