oh i meant rank marvin in terms of how bad his death was lol
getting killed by your dad is some crazy s***
Yeah that's probably the most obominatable one. Ironic considering pops was a man of the cloth.
Damn is his best album now for me tbh
dont think its amazing just a 8/10
feel bad for saying it but kendricks voice is just horrendous to me, i might listen to him more with a different voice
overplayed GKMC to death, but also agree don't feel like it aged well either. S.80 still kinda bangs, Blow My High
if anything s.80 didn't age well.
no makeup and spiteful chant
I loved GKMC at the time of release cause it was my senior year at high school and me and my friend would listen to it on the way to school. Was rather ethereal listening to Sing About Me at 7am, driving down a dark, snowy freeway. Album has grown off me but it's still my fav Kendrick and always reminds me of grade 12 when I listen.
Killing Joke needs more praise that band rocks
crazy album cover
backseat freestyle still bangs imo. swimming pools was always one of the weaker tracks on the album imo.
Backseat Freestyle was the bop of the summer that year man did we go full reetard to it

we've heard it so much too
yeah i dont really listen to kendrick anymore either, My favorite 2010s rapper has to be Danny Brown at this point

Damn is my least fav
if anything s.80 didn't age well.

those are weaker tracks for sure. Cartoons & Cereal still might be his best song, think that was 2012
Momma is up there too
Sherane, Backseat Freestyle, Art of Peer Pressure, Money Trees, Good Kid, M.a.a.D City (second half especially), Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst
are all amazing songs that have held up really well imo

yeah it reminds me of high school too but not really in a good way
welp too bad its looking like TPAB is gonna go down as one of our generations most classic albums in the eyes of the general populace
"HUMBLE." is f***ing dogshit.
im taking that over Compton and Real
One Kendrick song i f***ing hate is Poetic Justice
yeah im taking humble over that too

The other day i revisited the videos we took when we saw Kendrick open for Yeezus tour in Chicago
