The trend of using iconic songs that have been beaten to death in movie trailers as predictable hype music, especially when its a moody/edgy remix, should've died out years ago. It's like they've become part of the standard trailer formula now.

If you need commercial music in your trailer, play some deep cuts or something. Or at least go back to the days when every other movie/tv show commercial had Black Skinhead in it

Speaking of hearing the same song in multiple things, I swear in the past week I've seen three or four completely different brand/company commercials using Blue Monday

During the trailer for a new Square Enix game they keep hyping up some villain called Tanta and at the end of it she comes out and says her name like "I'm Tanta blah blah" and fights the main character and he started saying "No no not Donda, that's not Donda"

I checked the chat and it was just filled with "DONDA!?"

I know nothing about Clairo other than this one really catchy song called Sofia my friend showed me. I really dug that. Is any of her music beyond that worth listening to?
