Good year tbh for everything that wasn't rap. God awful year for rap. Outside of Bandana, Wizrd, and So Much Fun, nothing was even worth another listen.

their first album is some solid synthpop but they fell off after that. i dig the death stranding song though.

yup. I don't know why ppl hating on this year for rock. I don't think I've liked these many rock projects in one year in a long time. There was a Swans record also but I haven't listened to it yet

yo i’ve been forgetting to listen to that Angel Du$t album ALL year lmaooo, they were touring with one of my fav artists Wicca Phase Springs Eternal early in the year and that’s where i heard of em.
tbh i think the Black Midi album is cool but it’s far from one of my favs of the year and hasn’t had much replay value for me, even after i saw em live early in the year. the other two i’ve read about but haven’t heard.
my fav rock album this year is probably PUNK by Chai (also saw them live, one of my favorite sets of the year!!)
