    Is it even possible to really know Sandanista i swear every time I listen to this album at least a third of the songs sound brand new to me. Almost never make it all the way through. Bottomless well of an album.

    This one stood out today

    reggae clash the best clash

    seriously tho, sandinista being such a genre roulette every time you listen to it, something stands out all the time, sometimes the new wave tracks, the dub tracks, everything

    I know right. There’s all these little subtle back ground details instrumentally that really bring out the mood of the song.

    Instrumentals are nice but they do feel like they’re missing his vocal touches of course. That being said last three minutes of Out of the Blue are gold regardless. It’s weird how the sequencing of these tracks is on the Apple Music release. Out of the Blue is the climax of the whole record. It makes sense but it’s strange.

    @Very_Based

    Finished reading Hard Rain Falling, excellent book. Ill go so far to say its probably in all time favs. To be published in 1966 it doesn't read dated at all and is powerful. Without going into full detail its the blend of existentialism, prison/reform, love, and masculinity that take it up a notch. Nothing feels heavy handed or forced.

    Would totally recommend broski
