Spinning Plates in my top 5. Such a unique and disorienting song in their catalogue
Sounds similar to some of the stuff I like from Robert Wyatt
A watch? Joe still videotapes full episodes?
Yeah he does. You gotta go on Spotify to watch tho.

hard to rank the abstract ones with the more structured ones no matter how potent

i rank them on how much i like them
Moon Shaped Pool was like their From Elvis In Memphis tbh. the point at which every other contemporary of theirs from the early days must have just heard it and been like

The daydreaming video
if you said champagne supernova this would make more sense
I mean Ill take anything off the first 2 Oasis albums over anything Radiohead except maybe She's Electric
Tarantino is very much in a state of arrested development but also rich as f***. Better he raises a kid now with love he still has then become some Citizen Kane cliche.
id rather see him fizzle out epically
also his logic is dumb as f*** we could name countless geezers that kept making classics after their tenth film

I thought so but I can’t watch on my tv, and that’s the only way I’m watching an interview for hours

Lost City of Z is better than elric's favorite movie that's not zerkalo or night of the hunter
you really calling me out this hard over something that mid

He’s going into TV and literature, bro
His last two movies were also miniseries for Netflix and he’s also releasing a book companion for his last movie
He’s just tired of “shooting movies”
sry but Oasis benefited heavily from a conservative government literally repressing artistic freedom. Doubt they would've become this big otherwise.
Not knocking anyone here but Liam
I don’t know about that. Regardless of the political climate I think if tracks like Don’t Look Back in Anger came out in the 90’s they would have been a major success in Britain. That song is like the ultimate British anthem in a way. A ton of their songs function in that way. Live Forever, Slide Away, etc.
oasis won the first couple rounds but have been lapped repeatedly at this point
Haven’t seen this many users active at the same time in awhile

Are you watching any shows atm? I’m watching this sitcom on Netflix and it’s funny as hell. Worth watching especially during heat strikes

His logic is correct also. He’s seen enough of film history to realize it doesn't work that well for most filmmakers in their later career. Tarkovsky and Kubrick are so well remembered because they died before they could run out of steam. They have really concise perfect filmographies with each film holding weight as a significant piece of their cinematic canon. Tarantino is so OCD anyway it totally makes sense he wants the perfect box set to exist after he’s done.

about to go run up and down a hill in scorching 30 degree weather and know that I will regret it after 2 up and downs

Dunno what your logic is here but they get an eternal pass for the first 2 albums alone. Nothing except maybe The Verve has come close for me.
im listening to this over top of that How To Disappear video you linked now. congrats
you played yourself
Blow Out, Thinking About You, Stop Whispering (live), Lurgee >>>

He wants a “canon” and is in the rare position to be in control of it.
