Damn, there are 3 albums that are in my top 20 of the 2010s that didn't make my initial list. Wish I would've liked them that much when I made the list
Thugger - Barter 6 (already heard it but it grew on me)
Lil B - God's Father (TYBG
)
Colter Wall - Imaginary Appalaicha
btw @Elric i think Kinks might have passed stones as my #2 of the big 4 brit invasion bands.
also been having some doubts about Exile being the peak
what was the straw that broke the camels back? some 1966 gem?
"And i thought i was mainlining the secret truth of the universe"
The first season soundtrack was so good

no i mean what kinks made you decide they were superior to the stones

lol yea just re read it
maybe the fact that I now see Village Green as an absolute masterpiece. still feel like the top 4 Stones albums are probably stronger than top 4 Kinks but if I made like a top 40 songs of each I think Kinks would win
also appreciate the random non-album songs/later released songs from all the eras. Like I have Village green bonus disc in my library that's like 45 minutes and almost as good

NOBODY HAS AS MANY VAULTED GEMS AS BRIAN
that power pop debate seems weird thinking how he relegated the kinks to "too folky" when really them and the who invented it

also might peep the full 6 hour version, instead of the 2 hours/39 songs I have from it right now

This is interesting and terrifying, something about these old 50's/60's mental institution/patient reports get under my skin. Just knowing how the living conditions must have been combined with the mentally ill.

A girl commented saying that he was her uncle and that he eventually killed himself. Also said he was a really good piano player too if I remember right.

"His seeming obsession with piano came and went as did obsessions with religion, especially the Catholic Church and government. As far as I know he couldn't play a lick. He was very ill at his best and a living shell at his worst."
Damn
They're really this shameless
Mfers are stroking themselves like they know they'll be the only one in the house for a while, so they get bare ass on bed with no covers and take it slow

In the section for MBDTF, they talk about how much discussion/controversy their review of it caused because Twitter had recently become popular.
And then they link to a random guy's 2010 tweet about it that got 1 like
